Apparently some old writer guy (yay! Pulitzer Prize winners are idiots, too) is being left by his wife, who is now living as one of Ted Turner's many girlfriends. YUCK. But anyways, this idiotic writing genius emailed his grad students about the topic. Please read his insane letter.
***UPDATE! I guess after all the hullaballoo, he was invited to talk about the "letter getting out" (yeah, the one he asked his students to talk about...) on NPR! Joy joy. Take a listen.

I love your comment, "Yay, Pulitzer Prize winners are idiots too!" I also remember Jane Fonda (ex-wife of dear Ted Turner) saying that her ex-husband Roger Vadim also insisted they have threeways, etc.
well, I mean, does this guy seriously not see anything smug, self-serving or megalomaniacal about his saying things like, "Elizabeth has never been able to step out of the shaddow of the (*his*) Pulitzer." It's gag-inducing, no?
ps--the wife should've just said she wanted to do it with a guy who DOES NOT HUG YUCKY WHITE POODLES. seriously.
